Items for Continues Prayer in the Middle East

Continue to pray with Christians in the Middle East. Outspoken protestors challenge those in authority to end corruption, inflation, lack of democracy, and unemployment. They desire change and long for a better life. But there is uncertainty about the future.

•  Pray for a peaceful change throughout the region that will serve the proclamation of Christ’s message.
• Pray that hope will become concrete in these countries.
• Pray for boldness and courage in witness.
• Thank God for the power of social networking through Facebook as Christians work to build connections with others and talk about their faith.
• Pray for wisdom, encouragement, and discernment for local church leaders and mission leaders, responding to daily crises of revolution - death, chaos, refugees, shortages.
• Pray as they make friends with neighbors, sharing a sense of camaraderie as they care for each other.
• Pray - “May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”  [Hebrews 13:20,21]
